Wallbox vs socket

A dedicated 7.4–22 kW wallbox is safer, faster, and more predictable than a regular socket. A household outlet is not designed for high load over many hours. An approved installation with a dedicated circuit, EV-ready residual-current protection, and correct cable sizing reduces fire risk and delivers steady overnight charging.
